Jefferson County
Conservation District
We’re Here to Help
Jefferson County Conservation District is a non-regulatory special-purpose district in Washington State that helps land users conserve natural resources and address resource concerns while also meeting their land use goals. We collaborate with partner organizations to bring together technical expertise and funding for successful conservation and restoration projects throughout the community.
We offer information, technical assistance, and sometimes financial assistance at the request and in collaboration with local land users. Financial assistance may be through grants we receive, our new pilot Small Projects Cost-Share Program, or when appropriate, we will help you secure financial assistance from a partner organization such as the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service or Washington Department of Natural Resources. We have also been monitoring water quality in eastern Jefferson County, Washington since 1993.
