Native Plant Sale

Thank you for choosing to plant native trees and shrubs!

In our most recent plant sale we got over 8,500 stems into the community where they will provide valuable habitat for wildlife, sequester carbon, and add beauty to our local landscape for years to come. We have some new species offered this year that haven’t been offered in recent years, including Pacific yew, sword fern, and Western white pine, and a wide selection of natives suited to various site conditions, restoration goals, and habitat needs. We hope you’ll find just what you’re looking for.

Workshop #1 focuses on how to select the right plants for your site. Workshop #2 is about how to care for and plant bare-root trees and shrubs. There is no cost to attend, however, to help us plan for these workshops, we ask that you register.

Didn’t find what you were looking for at our sale?

Our neighboring conservation districts also hold native plant sales and their species selection may vary somewhat from what we have to offer at JCCD. Additonally, other local groups in Jefferson County hold plant sales. Also, you can always ask plant nurseries to get native species. If they are aware of demand for natives, they’ll be more likely to offer them.
