Chimacum Creek Restoration and Protection Strategy
This 2018 report was developed by the North Olympic Salmon Coalition (NOSC) with Jefferson County Conservation District (JCCD), Washington State University (WSU), Jefferson County Noxious Weed Control Board (JCNWCB), Jefferson Land Trust (JLT) and Natural Systems Designs, Inc (NSD, Inc.). A Technical Advisory Group, The Chumsortium, helped to identify recommended watershed protection strategies and provided needed input for the landowner outreach strategy. The advisors included representatives from the following organizations and agencies: Hood Canal Coordinating Council, Jefferson County Department of Environmental Health, Jefferson County, Jefferson Land Trust, Washington State University, Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Jefferson County Conservation District.
